SINGFEST WAS AMAZING. can't believe i paid 150 bucks to see alicia keys, jason mraz, pcd, panic and all of em. so super worth every penny. jamie scott is HOT! panic at the disco was coooooooool and ryan ross is the cutest doll i've ever seen walking this earth! jason mraz is just pure awesome. he ad libs the most coolest stuff and i dont mind watching him perform for a whole day. zomg. awesomeness. pcd's like so you think you can dance's ambassadors. hahaa. they danced like nobody's business laaaaaaaaaa! bravo bravo! but the singing needs some practice. lol. alicia keys, one word, phenomenon. one republic are great performers. etc etc etc. believe it or not, i was second in line for singfest day two. came at 6.30 in the morning and the first group was 3 kids who slept there from the day before. made new friends and met guy-who-stood-behind-me-at-chris-daughtry's-gig-whose-sister-accidentally-touched-my-ass-and-recognizes-me-from-that-incident-. ahaaa...

5:39 PM oh boy oh boy oh boy.. after this post, i am gonna start on my hmc essay. i think i have to go way further than the cover page (which is what i have done so far..) considering the fact that it's due THIS MONDAY. hahs. 1,500 words here we go.
my grandma's best friend is the cutest grandbestfriend ever. haha.. if you're eating she'll go like. makan? kesian.... if you're going off to school she'll go like. pegi skolah? kesian.... aahahha. i used to find it weird but now i tend to burst into silent fits of giggles whenever she says kesian (pity). haha. she's around the same age as my granny or even older but sitting down, she gets up faster than a 5 yr old. that alone deserves a standing ovation.

5:47 AM i saw american boy today after like forever. sigh. i feel bad stalking him all of a sudden. hahaha.. maybe it was because of the situation we were in. nadya lost her phone and pouch and we were in the student services office. and i saw him through the glass door. (From the back) and i went like. IS THAT HIM??? without second thoughts i actually ran after the bloke. ahahahaha. we sat at the canteen and when i saw that he was gonna eat i went and got myself a drink. so yeah. we sat and watched him eat. SICK. lol. ouh ouh ouh. when i was how the heck do u spell queue-ing??? ok yes. when i was doing that at the drink stall, HE CAME BEHIND ME. and the girls were like. she's gonna freak she's gonna freak. hahahahaha. super funny. and i heard him whistling and then ordering an ice lemon tea. i heard his voice for the first time. yayness. ouh for the dude's sake. how sick can i get? hahaha. i got freaking full marks for my presentation. so it was worth the all-nighter. naidu thought i read a bit too much at the start but he said the demo was good so he gave me full marks. hahahahaha. i've never done so well for a presentation before but then again, his standard was pretty low. he gave this china girl full marks as well for flashing a ninja mask on the screen and speaking what sounded like the fusion of chinese and english. hmmm.. the dude just wanted us to show we were prepared to speak in front of the class. anyway. i know i earned that full marks even though i sort of forced everyone to clap for me and volunteered my own volunteer. loll... hahahah. when i introduced myself i was like. hi i'm dayana and i'm gonna be talking about *drum roll....* PERCUSSION! yes i actually rolled the snare... hahaha. wth wth.
i realised sth a few days ago... every single person u meet is a new character in your life story. they may come and go but the role they play or played in your brain-made movie depends on you and solely you. you decide if they're one of the main characters or just an extra. you decide if they're gonna go away or stay forever. it's really funny innit. someone who passes you by on the street may think they're just gonna pass you by or not think of it at all. but you choose if you're gonna forget that person or not.
for example...
i saw my kindergarten teacher when i was sec 1 or 2. she called me by my name. i know i've made an impact in her life. that's for sure.haha
i never knew hana loved me so much until she begged me to stay over at her place in bedok. haha. that scene is still in my head till today. i know i'm one of her main characters.
the sevensome should know that they've got seven of the lead roles in my film.
bacin girls like hana, sabby, naqia, nazia and fathiah should know that they have major lead roles in my film
my close guy friends should know that they are the heroes in my film

you get to create the characters and that's the whole bizarre thing. u meet this someone and u may think that he or she is a freak but that person thinks of he/rself as normal. so it's what you think that is going to be forged out as a new character in your story. be it new freak, new friend or new fiend. and that new character has no idea what role they're playing. only you do.
i found out only after secondary school that the role i play in some people's stories is a noisy girl who couldnt shut up in class. ahahaha.. and i seriously thought that i was actually QUIET. heh. so i wonder what role i play in other people's stories.
