& it feels like i never left.

singapore was love though.

got in the country feeling like shit.

flight in singapore was delayed for a bit. and then transit at dubai wanted to compete.

got in the second flight alright but i was staring into space and didnt realise that after abt half an hour, the plane was still stationary. then the pilot made an announcement informing us about how there were technical difficulties and that they were going to serve breakfast in the meantime. while we were eating they said that we had to transfer to a different plane. while we were disembarking, they told us to have a seat because there was a sick passenger who needed to be attended to. while we were waiting they told us that we could disembark then. while we were disembarking for the second time they told us to move to the left hand side of the plane becuase the medics needed to come through. and after 3 hours, we were on the other plane, safely in the air, technical problems no more. i'm not complaining, i'm just telling my story!

i sat on the aisle seat and had to get up for my seatmates about 20 times so that they could go to the toilet. the plane landed and i braced myself for the bloody manchester immigration officers. it was about 2 hours after everyone else got their passports chopped when i got out in one piece with only a month's entry passage.(without counting the hour i had already waited for in the queue) they had interrogated me for what felt like hundreds of years. questions after questions. they wanted to break into my bag. i told em i lost my keys. honest. so they didnt break in. thank god cos that would have brought up more questions. "why have you got school books and marked worksheets when u havent been in school, love?" cos i'm rather enthusiastic? hmmm.
walked out to my aunt who had been at the airport for prolly more than 5 hrs. i know she got there way way earlier than when my flight landed. must have thought they had killed me or sth. i'm grateful i've got great loved ones because i would have broken down if i came out to a disgruntled adult asking what the bloody hell took me so long. love you aunty minah =)
well, she had been interrogated outside as well it turned out. but we got home alright. i should have landed in manchester at ard 11 in the morning and reached home in the early afternoon on that day but instead, it was close to 9 i think when we were finally home. which equates to me travelling for more than 24 hours. nasty.
sod it all.

maths exam the very next day. evidently no one was listening when i screamed give me a break.
met mark near the roundabout. we ran towards each other like we'd parted for 10 years. hahaha. but i stopped midway cos i thought we were gonna seriously injure ourselves if i ran half as fast as he did. lol. he cut his hair! and he got himself a new coat from topman that made him look like a nazi general. hahah. met other maths people outside the hall. they were all nervous wrecks and i was still shaking from jet lag. my seat was right in front. had a huge clock in front of me but i screwed time up. took my own sweet time for the questions. hey. i thought i had 8 hours more than the rest of the kids. bla. it was parallex error ok. 15 mins more though, not 8 hrs. i only just turned to the last page when the invigilator said stop. lost abt 13 marks. prolly wont get an A. something to cheer me up there. awesome. mr robbinson (headmaster) had heard from aunty minah about my airport extravaganza and told me to hang in there. haha. so sweet. and then went to the common room with mark to meet hana and helen called me into her office to tell me to hang in there as well. so i guessed the whole world knew. lol. went back home, watched hairspray with hana and then studied for psychology which was the next day.
psychology went well. and then met sean and kyle. they said literature was hell without me. awww. lol. u can tell when i get tired of writing. i speed up stuff like this. haha. stopping soon. everyone's gone to bed and Lala's staring at me. that yellow tellytubby. studied for english the best that i could while sean and kyle insulted each other's mums. (it's their hobby) haha. english went as crap as maths. i rushed everything and didnt use much of what we had learnt for the past 4 months. bleh. for the next few days, i stayed at home and watched hairspray over and over again. and i learnt the moves to zac efron's ladies' choice and also fell in love with the ladies' choice, zac efron. hahaa. anyway. my point of posting this time is to say that....... i've stopped school. once i let this out i can focus on the wonderful things i've been doing and will be doing for the rest of my stay here. it's disappointing and depressing but yeah. mum, aunty minah and i have decided that we've had enough from the british commission. and even if they grant me a visa, i've got to go back to singapore and get it. and even then, there's no knowing how long they're gonna take to put the visa in my passport so god knows how long i'll miss school. it's all a bad idea like it had always been so. the end. and it frustrates me to think all this while i could have been in singapore, with a secured education but i chose this path instead. still. no regrets. i've learnt things and i've met people i'll never forget.and i've lived with aunty and hana. (deliberately missed the minah there. *Chuckles* inside joke) it's been the best. tythy's been the best.

had my last exam, english literature, the week after. it didnt go as bad as i thought it would have. haha. cos everyone else had read the book twice and i only read it once. also, they had memorised millions of quotes and i only had 3 to 4 in mind. :S but i crapped through it and came out of the gym alive! haha. and then went to the 6th form common room to give miss gannon a letter from aunty minah. told her it was my last day and she got so upset. lol. gave her a hug and said bye but she still went on about how she cldnt understand why they wldnt just give me a visa. and that it was their lost. not mine. awwwwww. they're the best!! i waited for a bit in the common room to say bye to everyone.. and then went home and started dancing again. hahaaa. dancing makes me forget things. lol. aunty minah told me that both miss gannon and mr robbinson called her on that day. miss gannon went on abt the same thing and according to hana, the same thing to her in school as well. lol. mr robbinson was angry and disappointed for me. gaaaaah. they're too nice. on my way home mr jones (the teacher i've got a poking affair with. haha) shouted my name out of his classroom window. lol. told him i screwed up the maths exam. i let them down! =((. and then he went like. i was told by what's-her-name.. i was like. um... miss gannon?? hahaa. funny guy. news spreads fast in that school! said bye to him. sob sob. shld have given him one last poke. ANYWAY.now i'm saying bye to you. pictures and more news soon.

TATA.
