The performance at Merdidian Junior College was really funny or maybe even lame... The band did not play what we were supposed to.. We played part of what we were supposed to.. It was so sad... We did not play all the songs that we practised hard to play there. I expected a much better show than what happened just now... Some of the percussion instruments that we brought were not even used because of the cancelled songs.. And the lamest thing that happened there was..., we played a really nice marching song for kindergarten kids to "march"!!
Alrite, alrite, enough of moaning... I'll share the fun moments of the performance though it does not have anything to do with us performing... Me and my junior band member had fun copying the choir from Coral Primary... We were desperate to entertain ourselves so what the heck... The two of us followed their steps and it turned out that we were entertaining some of the band members too... We laughed at ourselves... It was just so lame.... After the band had played four pathetic songs( supposed to be 'bout 10), we went to the waiting area or sumthin' and there, we had fun... We had a group photo and we were united :) We chatted among ourselves until we were called upon to join the r.c members in singing "Stand Up For Singapore..." after which we packed up and went back to school to put back all the instruments.. There, we were each given a goody bag and a pack of rice and then most band members headed outside school to eat.... Our band teacher was so kind that she bought for those who wanted ice-cream one each, after we had finished eating... We then headed home..... Now, I'm in front of the comp., recalling the whole performance before I get some sleep and forget about the most boring performance throughout my band life so far.... 8:17 AM |
